Oregon State University genomicist and evolutionary biologist Dee Denver serves as Principal Investigator on the GLOBAL Project.
Dr. Denver’s research team studies evolutionary and population-genomic questions in nematodes. Diverse nematode systems are studied including the laboratory model Caenorhabditis elegans, animal-parasitic species, and plant-parasitic species. New DNA sequencing technologies and bioinformatics approaches are applied to understanding the dynamics of nematode genomes across time and space.
