Sulochana Kumari Wasala

Sulochana Wasala joined the GLOBAL project as a PhD student in September 2016. She is working on population genomics of Globodera spps. under Prof. Dee Denver at Oregon State University.

Ms. Wasala is originally from Sri Lanka where she received her BSc in Biology from the University of Peradeniya. Prior to joining the GLOBAL project, she worked on the plant parasitic nematodes Pratylenchus penetrans and Xiphinema americanum.
